Opening Night Gala: U.S. Premiere of PABLO
We had an amazing time at the Fidelity Bank Opening Night Gala with guests PABLO filmmakers Jeremy Goldscheider (Producer), Marcela Perdomo (Art Director/Animator), and Freddy Morales (Art Director/Animator), AND a special Skype visit from Pablo Ferro himself!
Skype with Pablo Ferro
We were lucky enough to have THE legendary Pablo Ferro join us via skype last night for the Q&A after the US Premiere of PABLO. What a colorful character and a stubbornly independent hero!
PABLO is the Man!
The 10th annual Tallgrass Film Festival kicked off with a lovely reception at Botanica and more than 400 people showing up for the US Premiere of PABLO, which was followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers and a live skype with the man himself. There couldn’t have been a more stubbornly independent way to kick off this year’s festival.
Jeremy Goldscheider, Marcela Perdomo and Freddy Morales of PABLO.
Mark Hall & Lee Gillentine on B98 this morning
Mark Hall (SUSHI: THE GLOBAL CATCH) and Lee Gillentine(THINGS I DON'T UNDERSTAND) were up early this morning to help promote the Tallgrass Film Festival on B98FM. We're so excited to have so many incredible filmmakers with us this year. (And thanks for getting up so early, guys!)
