Event & Ticket Options
General Admission tickets are $10, with a discounted ticket price of $8 for students/teachers/seniors/military/TFA members with valid ID.
General Admission Matinees are $5 for shows that screen before 5:00 pm on Thursday and Friday.
Gala tickets are $25 and include the film, Q&A and after-party with open bar/food/live music.
Smallgrass tickets are $7, with a discounted ticket price of $5 for EP & TFA members, and include museum admission. Tickets may be purchased at Exploration Place only on the day of the show.
Free Films Friday: A selection of films will be offered free of charge for students/teachers and seniors (65+) with proper ID during the morning and afternoon on Friday.
Free Films at the C.A.C. Theatre and the Public Library - Central Library: All films screening on the Wichita State University Campus and at the C.A.C. Theatre are free of charge and open to the public. Seating is available on a first-come first-serve basis.

For those moviegoers who plant to spend the weekend at Tallgrass, for the best overall value the festival offers two pass options: the VIP TALLPass and the Student TALLPass.
If you have won a TALLPass at an event throughout the year or have received a voucher for a pass or tickets, please bring your voucher to the physical box office beginning October 14 to exchange it for the pass.
VIP TALLPass: $195 (*TFA Members: $165)
For the ultimate Tallgrass experience, the VIP TALLPass is the way to go. The TALLPass admits the bearer priority admission to all general admission screenings, Smallgrass, gala screenings and after parties, access to the VIP Lounge for food, drink and amenities (Th-Su), and VIP events, Filmmaker Lab Workshops (seating is limited) and the following exclusive VIP-only events (every guest must have a TALLPass/Sponsor/VIP/Filmmaker Pass for admission):
Consolidated Equities Trust VIP Lounge at Candela at The Lux: Relax and recharge between movies in the festival's VIP Lounge. Serving breakfast, lunch, snacks and happy hours daily, plus pampering amenities including massage, hair styling, makeup application, and live entertainment. Film School TALLPass: $80
A Film School TALLPass - available to students with Valid ID - admits the bearer to all general admission festival films and Filmmaker Workshops. See as many movies as you’d like for just $80, learn the craft of filmmaking and meet indie filmmakers in their natural habitat. (Excludes Gala Films)
Your sponsor or filmmaker pass works just like a VIP TALLPass and allows the bearer admission to all screenings, galas, parties and events listed above. Please be sure to check your email for exclusive invitations to sponsor-only events. Sponsors will be emailed voucher and ticket receipts. Vouchers can be exchanged at the physical box office beginning on October 14.

Seating is first come, first serve and is not guaranteed.
Many of the films at the festival have not been rated by the MPAA. They may contain adult themes or strong language and may not be suitable for children.
No babes in arms.
General Admission vouchers are not redeemable for Smallgrass Films.
Groupons and Wisebuys are good for General Admission screenings ONLY and exclude Smallgrass. Receipts may be exchanged at all festival box offices.
