In addition to showcasing film, the Tallgrass Film Festival offers parties, panel discussions,  film workshops and several events that are free of charge and open to the public.

Filmmaker Panels: Various filmmaker panels will be offered throughout the weekend free of charge at the Wichita Film Commission stage in the Heroes Hospitality Tent outside the Orpheum Theatre.

Filmmaker Labs: Documentary Production 101 will be offered on Saturday at the Wichita Downtown Development Innovation Center.

Gala Parties: Gala parties follow gala screenings and are included in the gala ticket price. Parties feature open bar, food and live entertainment. Locations vary.

Karaoke with the Filmmakers: Join the festival board and staff to break the ice with a little pre-festival karaoke.

Heroes Hospitality Tent: For the first time, Heroes Sports Bar & Grill will provide a Hospitality Tent outside the Orpheum Theatre, offering festival attendees a place to grab food and drink. The tent also includes the Wichita Film Commission stage, which will host the filmmaker panels.

VIP Events: Several exclusive VIP events occur during the festival which are open to Passholders including: TALLPass, Sponsor and Filmmaker Passholders only.
